"Yeah. We can even team up, if we gotta. I brought some snacks, and I actually live in an apartment next door, so if you're hungry now I can hook you up."

Saber still eyed the strange girl warily. Not only was she willing to share territory and resources, she seemed... pleased to get hit in the face. There was no understanding some people.

"Oh! Thanks but I'll at least be partially self sufficient. I can get food. Plus there was a really cute bakery I wanted to shop at. There some pastries in there I NEED." she set her suitcase down in one of the theater seats. "but you can come with if you want!"

"Is it the one with the kitties on the sign?? That place is so good!! I gotta go with ya!!"

"Yeah I think it is!" she checks her notebook, "Yep! I drew a cat next to it. Let's go!" she headed back out with Mari, avoiding the rune trap, and back down the block. "So are you from this city or somewhere else in Japan?"

"Born and raised. It ain't much, yeah, but it's home. You're American, right?"

"Yeah! I'm from Pheonix, Arizona! Well right now anyway. I think I've lived in almost every state." she giggled, "Well that's an exaggeration I guess, but my dad's in the military so we moved a LOT." They arrived at the bakery, it wasn't too far away, and Avalon squealed a little before heading inside. Everything was so cute and there were so many pastries shaped like cats and cat paws!

Mari had been rapt with attention, listening to Avalon talk about all the different places she lived, when something fluttered onto her head. She jumped, almost falling out of the chair, and an envelope addressed to The Two Masters At The Eastern Table, Nyanko Cafe. She snapped open the wax seal and unfolded the paper:

Servants will be present but non-hostile. Casual dress encouraged, gifts not required, refreshments to be provided. RSVP."

"RSVP? How're we supposed to do th-" She turned the letter over and a line appeared for each of them, including a box to check for "yes" or "no."

"There is NO way that's safe," Avalon pushed the letter away.

"Yeah. This says 'trap.' Maybe we can meet them somewhere more neutral?"

"Maybe...let's just keep the note for now. We can case the place first." she folded it up and put it in the pocket of her jeans, sighing heavily. How clumsy of these people.
