Avalon and DeeDee in Fuyuki!

The two had taken a cab from the airport and been dropped off in the newer district of Fuyuki: Shinto. "Wow, this is so neat! We definitely need to find the leylines here first, but ohhhhh I wanna go shopping! I'll need to bring back some souvenirs to my parents. Maybe it'll make them less mad at me." she took out a notebook and a small copy of the map, ready to mark down where the leylines were (and write down stores she wanted to visit later). "We can worry about a hotel later when it gets dark, let's get to it!"

The two set off to crawl through Fuyuki and find some leylines!

Saber had shifted into a more casual outfit, a white ballcap with small white horns shadowing their face. When they neared the theater, Saber put a hand on Avalon's shoulder.

"There's a strong line here. Perhaps we could investigate." They looked up, spotting a young woman holding a pack of cigarettes and staring at them. Suddenly, the girl darted into the theater from the back. Saber raised an eyebrow. Curious.

"Strong line and someone who just look at us and runs..." Avalon thought for a moment, "Okay there's no way that could be a master though. Running away like that is way too obvious...but maybe it was a scout?...Either way. Let's check out that theater. There aren't any signs for performances and the line runs under it. Would you be offended if I asked you to go in first?" she laughed nervously. If there were any waiting mages she'd definitely want Mordred blocking her.

"Of course, my lady." As soon as they crossed the threshold, Saber's armor materialized around them.

"W-wait!! Don't come any closer! There's a glyph right in front of you and you'll blow up!!" The voice was loud and - well, too wavery to be clear, but yes, loud. Neither Saber nor Avalon could immediately tell where it was coming from.

"This space is occupied, an' I don't wanna break the rules!! It's too early to fight! J-just... Go back to wherever and we're cool, okay!?"

"Well...look we're just trying to find a place to roost. Do you own this building?" she was a bit agitated at the lack of professionalism, but what can you do?

Mari huffed, nerves still jangling. "For the purposes of the battle, yeah! Oc-cu-pied!! There's other laypoints in the city!"

"Well if there's other leyLINES in the city then YOU go to one!" she stomped her foot a bit. There wasn't much she could do except argue, and dammit she'll do that if she must.

"Well I don't really give a damn. If you want, we can fight over it woman to woman, but I ain't leavin'" Avalon was mostly bluffing. She had been in many sports, but never any kind of brawl really. But her opponent seemed rather cowardly, so she was hoping she'd budge.

Mari's face split with a wide grin. She grabbed a pipe next to her and descended from the catwalk, swaggering towards the other woman and swinging it with ease when she reached the floor.

"Just woman to woman, right? No magic, just us."

"No magic, but you better have a pipe for me too!" she put on her mean face, but inside: SHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT!

"Woooah! I like your spirit, sis!" Mari's tone turned more confident, and almost friendly. "I don't wanna show all my cards too soon, like, so how about just fists?" She tossed the pipe to one side and took a low stance, hands curling in the air.

"First to say 'give'!"

"Alright let's do it!" she said a prayer and rushed the other woman, going for a tackle.

Mari reeled as Avalon's fist connected with her nose. She staggered a few steps back and shook off the punch, catching her breath.

"... New proposition. We share, take the other bastards down, then duel in a blaze of glory?"

"HA! I GOT A HIT IN OH MY GOD!" she jumped up and down excitedly before controlling herself, "uh...I mean yeah we can at least share the theater. We could go havsies. Wanna do that?"

She laughed heartily as she watched Avalon jump around. "Yeah! I'm Mari!" She offered a hand for shaking.

Avalon took her hand, "I'm Avalon. Nice to meet you!" she gave it a nice firm shake. "Alright well...I gotta do some shopping. I don't have any food yet so...do you wanna split it down the middle? or...why don't we just share all the space? it'll be easier."
