As Malphas cackled, Kirei stepped back. "Advanced regeneration. Powerful Dead Apostles have the ability to turn back time, reverting their bodies to a state before they were injured. We have to deal as much damage as possible to kill him before he regenerates."

Atalanta huffed in displeasure. "It doesn't seem like we can really affect him health wise, what should we do?" As she asked, she readied another arrow, fully drawn.

Kirei paused for a moment, regarding the Dead Apostle while he was distracted by Rider. His regeneration was too fast; they couldn't deal enough damage to kill him before he simply reversed the wounds. If they couldn't deal with him until dawn, they were...

Of course. Dawn. He looked down at the blades of his Black Keys. He had fought with them since he was a child, but normally only for brute physical force. He had heard of other uses for the Black Keys, but none he had ever tried before. It would appear that now was the time.

"Lure him down into the courtyard," he answered quietly. "I can trap him there."

Without waiting for a response, he jumped backward, off the roof of the building and into the shadows.

Atalanta jumped over to Rider, releasing her arrow into the apostle's face. She said just loud enough for Rider to hear, "Help me get him to the courtyard." She pushed forward, disregarding her full draw to fire enough to force him down to where she needed him.

Rider nodded and slashed with his sword, pushing offensively to lead the Apostle down.

Malphas was knocked back by both hits, but came at them again as fiercely as before, grasping for Archer's throat.

"Is your Master not joining us anymore?" he taunted. "What a shame. I thought he had more in him!"

She answered with a well placed kick to the gut, followed by an arrow.
