Toxic Love

It had been many days since Darius had seen battle. His skin itched, longing for the clashing of weapons reverberating through his body and to feel his blood pumping fast through his veins. But all he was given was peace. A cool night breeze drifting through the window. The moon was new, and he could barely see his master and their companion in the dark. He caught a glimpse of movement, what at first he thought must be a shiver taking the child who was supposed to rule him. The boy was not bad. He had a quick mind, and had been trying to teach Darius to better express his thoughts. He showed him many cards with letters, numbers, and pictures. He was persistent. As his mind faded into the memories of the past few days, Darius' head lolled to the side and he yawned. He was suprised by the action. He did not usually sleep; but before he knew it he was being pulled down into the land of dreams as his body slumped in his chair.

Aaron found himself in a soft bed. His bed. His eyes and body were heavy, but he could feel someone over him. In him. Finally he was able to lift his eyelids, and he could see his husband above him. Ah, this wasn't the first time this had happened. His body gained more feeling as he felt the mana coming into him. He moaned softly and tried to move his hands to wrap around Julian but they were bound. His face fell, as much as it could. He was still having trouble controlling his muscles from whatever Julian had put in his drink.

His husband chuckled and nipped his ear after giving him one last kiss, and left the bed..but Aaron still felt hands on him. The room was dark, but as his eyes lulled around he could see figures.
This...this had never happened before, but for some reason felt familiar. The many figures closed in and men and women took their turns with him as he struggled. He didn't know these people. But Julian was next to him, whispering calm words and urging him to take the energy the strangers offered. He had no choice but to take it as he groaned and struggled against his restraints, but the drugs in his system made him no match for even the ropes, let alone the several people on and around him. He heard them asking what boundaries they could cross, and pleased laughter as Julian assented to whatever they wished. They continued through the whole night, until just before dawn. His body was burning now. He still couldn't move but the overflow of mana set his nerves on fire. Every injury he had sustained was even more painful than usual. Even the gentlest of touches caused him to wince; and these people were not gentle.He finally heard the guests leaving as a small amount of daylight peeked under the drawn curtains. His husbands weight alighted on the bed as a cool hand ghosted over him, and Aaron fell into sleep.

When he awoke in the morning, still in a good amount of pain, Julian was there. He handed him some water and aspirin, "You had a rough night last night." a sympathetic smile followed the comment, accompanied with the brush of cool fingers along his cheek.

He sipped the water, throat rough and dry, "What happened?" it was hard to swallow the pills. His throat felt horrible.

"We got a little drunk and had some fun. But you had some terrible nightmares. I've been trying to keep you from thrashing all night..."

Aaron leaned back onto the pillows. Had it been a dream then? Now he wasn't sure...

Julian stood, giving his husband a kiss on the forehead, "Rest just a bit longer, but I have everything ready for your trip. I'll get your things packed. I hate to make you go, but time is of the essence."

Oh yes. He had gotten command seals yesterday. How could he have forgotten?
