Peace Summit At the Tohsaka mansion!

The two were not attacked on their way at all, which seemed odd to Avalon. She voiced as much to Mari. This was supposed to be a war right? Something must be going on for all this reaching out to be happening. She cautiously pressed the call button on the speaker on the gate. Her body was tense and she couldn't help but keep looking around her.

The approaching team could feel the presence of four Servants within the mansion, though none of them seemed to be taking any aggressive action.

After Avalon pressed the call button, the gate buzzed and unlocked. Yui stood in the doorway, and behind her was Berserker; both smiled and bowed.

"My name is Yui Tohsaka, a Master from the previous war. You can come inside. I give you my word that we mean no harm."

Atalanta arrived behind two other masters and one other servant. She materialized out of spirit form and bowed to a woman she assumed was Yui, "Hello. I am here on behalf of my master. They have received your letter, and sent me for negotiations."

Avalon offered her hand for shaking, "Uh, hi! I'm Avalon. This is Mari. And my servant can introduce themselves if they want I guess. I assume you know that we're here about the letter?" the master relaxed a bit. Yui just seemed so nice! She had always been one to listen to her gut, and right now it was nice and calm. She hoped her instincts were correct. She'd hate to be caught off guard.

A pink-haired form bounced in from one side. "I'm Asto -" His eyes grew massive, and seemed to glisten. "Miss Atalanta...!!"

Yui's eyes widened when Atalanta appear behind the pair of Masters.

She was alive?! Had Kirei secretly kept her alive in the previous War? No, that couldn't be, or else the Grail couldn't have--

She caught her tongue before she blurted anything out. Until she knew what Atalanta's exact circumstances were, she shouldn't talk carelessly in front of the other Masters.

"Yes! Us previous Masters are hoping to make a peace agreement, if you would be amenable."

She stepped aside to allow them inside. She feared the presence of all the other Servants would be too intimidating, but by putting herself out in the open, she hoped to put them at ease.

She grinned wide and opened her arms for a hug, "Hello, Astolfo." Since they knew she was at the church, she was sure they would assume she had spoken to Kirei, so acknowledging her former friend shouldn't do any harm.

Astolfo flew into her and wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a tight squeeze. Tears fell in fat drops as he sobbed into her bosom.

"I thought you were dead!! I thought I'd never see you again and I was gonna be lonely forever but not super lonely because Phillipus is still here but you were gone and I was so sad!!" He gasped and pulled back. "Does Kirei-san know??"

She smiled down at him. He was just as she'd recorded, "He does. He knew the master who summoned me, and in fact encouraged them to summon me specifically. I have more news on the matter, but when these meetings are over, Kirei would like to speak with You, Phillipus, Yui, and Lazarus. He would like to discuss my situation with you. We can talk more about it there."

Avalon eyed the reunion suspiciously, but entered the property with Yui's gesture, "so like...how do those two know each other? Didn't they just get here?"

"Okay!!" He lead her inside, still hanging from her waist and leaning into her shoulder. Mari stared after them.

"Yeah, I... What? Maybe they're from the same legend? He called her by name... Who's Kirei, though?"

"I guess it's a long story," Yui explained. No point hiding it now. "She was one of our allies from the previous War. She died, but it sounds like she was summoned again for this war. Kirei is the War's mediator, an impartial judge sent from the Church."

She led the group into their living room, where Phillipus, Lazarus, Carlotta, and Rider waited.

"Welcome!" Carlotta stood and greeted everyone. Lazarus, sitting behind several hand bound books containing the records of the other servants and the past war, followed with his own hellos. When he saw his former ally he perked up "Atalanta! What a surprise to see you! Do you remember much? I have your record here!"
The archer waved his offer away kindly, "Thank you, but Kirei has already let me see a copy of them. It's nice to see you again Lazarus." She took a seat next to Astolfo.

Avalon sat next to Mari. Scathatch materialized finally, to be polite, standing behind her mistress. She kept a stern face and made it clear with body language she was not to be trifled with.

Twenty minutes after the trio's arrival, the group felt the coming of yet another servant. It's presence was overwhelming, signifying a power far greater than any one the servants currently there. It remained at a distance, but a short time later, the doorbell rang.

Yui nervously went to the door and returned with a girl that couldn't be older than 11 or 12 years old, wearing a pretty purple dress. By her red eyes and white hair, she was unmistakably an Einzbern homunculus.

The girl smiled and curtsied. "I'm Illyasviel von Einzbern. Nice to meet you. Berserker's going to wait outside; he doesn't work well with others."

Alexander growls a bit. The Berserker has him on edge. "I don't trust it," he says to Carlotta, moodily staring out a front window.

"I don't particularly blame you my dear," the woman whispered under her breath, leaning in close to him. She sent her own personal familiar, a bat, to keep an eye on the Berserker waiting outside. She let a curl fall over her eye, which had turned completely black as she was receiving information from her familiar.

As the bat homed in on Berserker's aura, she couldn't see anything; the Servant was remaining in Spiritual Form. She could only hear a low, faint growl. Thankfully, it was easy to keep track of his location, and he seemed content to stay a safe distance from the mansion under his Master's orders.

Yui shifted nervously as well, but she preferred the dangerous-feeling Servant far away rather than in her house.

Daichi approached the house on foot, gaining what sense he could from his glasses about what kind of Bounded Fields they had there. "Well, are you prepared to be charming?" he asked Medea.

"I can be no other way, my dear." Her sundress was delicately hemmed and immaculately mussed. Sunglasses were folded and dangling from her neckline, and with a flourish she rang the doorbell.

Yui answered the door shortly, quickly looking over the pair that had just arrived. "Ah, you must be the pair from the Temple." She bowed. "My name is Yui Tohsaka," she said, repeating her greeting for the new visitors. "I'm a Master from the previous war. Come on in, and we can begin!" She led the pair inside, keeping her senses tuned to the Bounded Field, to see if there were any hostile intentions in the pair.

After leading them inside, she turned to Lazarus. "I believe that's everyone. Everyone we've contacted anyway. One Master is still MIA, but there's not much else we can do."

Daichi's interest is piqued at the mention of a missing master, but he keeps his demeanor cool and collected. He has no intention of violence while he is here, simply wishing to collect as much information as possible while giving away as little as he can.

"Tohsaka-san, a pleasure. You may call me Sato." He eyes Lazarus up and down as Yui talks to him, keeping a pleasantly neutral expression.

"It's such a pleasure." Medea smiled easily and walked inside. She looked over the assembled consideringly. What an interesting draw we've been dealt. Her eyes stopped immediately upon seeing Archer, her smile becoming more genuine.

"Atalanta..? Is that you?? Gods preserves us, how have you been darling?" She stepped over to Archer, resting a fond hand on her shoulder.

Saber bristled at the familiarity. More connections meant more advantages, whether they had to divide into factions or every man for themselves. Under their helmet they gave a deep frown.

Daichi takes out a pretty-nice-for-2005 mobile device and discreetly looks up Atalanta on the internet. He keeps his expression neutral but files away the fact that in legend, Atalanta and Medea met, and Medea healed the archer.

Alexander stands in the room where everyone is to gather, arms crossed. However, he lets a smile play across his lips as the meeting gets started, making a point to memorize everyone's names and make some hopefully intimidating eye contact with all of the servants, where possible.

Atalanta stared blankly at the woman for a moment, "Oh! Hello! How interesting to find you here..." not being horribly good with people, she wasn't quite sure what to say to the woman. It had been so long since she'd seen her. She did however give her a genuine smile and patted the hand on her shoulder.

After all had settled in and everyone had drinks and snacks, Lazarus stood, "Well! Welcome everyone! We've all made our introductions so I'll get right to the point." he shuffled around some papers and introduced the present members of the house, including all their servants before getting to the meat of the issue. " To be blunt, few if any of you know what will truly be occuring in this grail war. This will likely come as a surprise to both current masters and servants, but the servants' role is to be sacrificed and that is it. Servants, your wish was never meant to be granted. Please try not to be too upset, your masters more than likely did not know this. I'll be happy to answer more questions about details when I'm finished but please hold comments until then." He took a sip of water before continuing, "Now, I'm sure this disrupts many plans and purpose for the grail. When we found this out during the last war, which went wrong in more than one way, we decided to band together. Now, if all seven servants are sacrificed, the grail will open the doorway to akasha. Our plan is to send one person through, who will then use their knowledge to make everyone's wishes reality. It will take longer, of course, but that way everyone's wishes, servants and masters alike, will have the best chance of coming to fruition. The servants will have to sacrifice themselves for this to happen, but that would happen anyway. However as you can see, if you wish, you may keep your servant around as long as you can provide them mana. We ask that you all work together with us so that we may come to a peaceful solution, instead of forcing heroes to fight who will not even get a stake in what their wish might be."

Daichi immediately speaks up. "How does the servant sacrifice themselves and yet stay in this world? Did you all wish for your servants to come back to life?"

Lazarus grinned, "A great question! The last grail had to be destroyed. It was corrupted. Our servants were still living when we destroyed it."
